Most Trusted Telecom brand Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) lists year ending festivals as Blackout Days for Christmas on 25th December, 2015 and New Year Eve day i.e 31st December, 2015 and 1st January, 2016.

BSNL Karnataka Telecom Circle will treat the above day’s i.e 25-12-2015, 31-12-2015 and 01-01-2016 as Blackout days. On these days there will no confessional voice calls is allowed for Prepaid users.
  • No Free or discounted SMS will be available to existing / new customers, who have subscribed to SMS STVs/Add-ons or have free SMS offered along with new subscription.
  • No free or discounted voice call will be available to existing/new customers, who have subscribed to voice STVs/Add-ons or have free voice call offered along with new subscription.
  • Discounted call facility “Friend and Family” will also be not available during this day.
  • Tariff for SMS/Voice call charges will be as per the plan tariff on this day.
